A lovely art gallery cum park that also hosts theatre, I stumbled upon this place on a weekend. It was a good decision, since there was hardly any public around except for the staff, so it was a peaceful. The 2 galleries held a small but lovely collection of artworks by various local artists, most of which were up for sale as well.
A piano is placed in a lovely spot, which I liked quite a bit. And the gate to this place, is beautiful. There are some studios where sculpture and similar arts are taught, which were closed on Saturday. Great green park, with some people just hanging out, playing with their dogs.
It's a lovely place to visit. Also, there's no entry fee!
What a surprise, cafe had a varied menu and great scrambled eggs β¦. There is also a theatre and artist workshops.
Plan your visit - see some live theatre
My friend and I, take our daughters for an art class. It is such a lovely environment. The coffee shop is great and pet friendly, outdoor for pets only, not inside while ordering. There is a small gallery where artists display their work and you can potentially, buy a painting. Great for going for a stroll, it's close to the main strip of shops. Around 10 minute walk.
Close to the beach also.
Perfect little spot.
I go there everyday with my dog. People are really friendly and the different areas help dogs to find what they want. Sometimes very busy and other times very calm. Their are 3 places where you can place your trashes, and kids can play a bit. Their is a place for pic nic.
We usually attend the farmers market once a month. Great location for the market. During the summer itβs pristine but a bit harder to walk on the Otha in winter when it rains.
Nice cafe with decent food options. Public toilet is a bit hard to find. Big park attached which is usually filled with dogs off the lead and dog training schools on weekends. Not a playground for kids worth mentioning. But all in all a good place to grab some local fresh veg
Large open space with a lovely cafe nearby. We run our monthly maker sessions at the cafe. There's also a very active arts collective run by a not for profit. Definitely worth checking out.
It's a very pleasant park full of friendly dog walkers. Plenty of parking and seating in the park.
I really like going to the farmers market, the park is also spacious that is suitable for dog walking and some outdoor activities, also a plus that it is pretty close to the beach
